Oh Death in Life, the Beers That Are No More

The glassy remains of a St. Bernardus Christmas Ale and a St. Bernardus 60th Anniversary Abt 12 sit next some of my oldest favorites (l-r): Brakspear Henley Ale from 2002, shortly before the brewery closed; my first Chimay Cinq Cents (circa 1996) and my first Chimay Grand Reserve (circa 1997); and Rogue Shakespeare, the first craft ale I ever drank (circa 1996).
